What is the church? The church consists of multiple aspects and dynamics. A summary of the church can be found in Acts 2:41-42. Luke writes and describes this church in this way: So those who accepted his message were baptized, and that day about three thousand people were added to them. They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and to prayer. There are several aspects of the church in these two verses. Baptism, teaching, fellowship, communion, and prayer. What is most interesting is that all of these point to who Christ is was what he did. While these are specific concepts the church should be doing, what is most important is that Christ is shown in everything that is done.
