Devotional by Tricia Lowe

Good morning. For today’s devotional message, I will be sharing both a hymn and a verse with you. As I was preparing our video for Sunday morning, I listened to Kaylie sing “Great is thy faithfulness, and the chorus really struck my heart. It says Great is Thy faithfulness Morning by morning new mercies I see And all I have needed Thy hand hath provided, Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord unto me.” Which is also in Lamentations 3:22-24 which says Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. I say to myself, “The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for him.”


I don’t know about how your grocery trips have been, but it seems like the things I am looking for are always just about gone. It’s discouraging. But this song and verse reminds me that God provides for our needs. It may not be the exact brand or what we are used to having. But our needs are always met. He’s always been faithful and will always be. Every morning is a new reminder that God is faithful to us, always!
