Paul confronts the people of Galatia in Galatians 1:6 where he writes I am amazed that you are so quickly turning away from him who called you by the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel— Could it be possible that Paul would write a very similar letter to the church today? Has the church lost the priority that the gospel should place in the life of the Christian? Have Christian’s sacrificed the worship of God on the altar of convenience and ease? It would be very easy, at this time to abandon God’s church and the gospel altogether. Paul was not a good “amazed” in his letter. He was absolutely astonished in the worst possible way of the church’s lack of commitment. So church, how is your commitment to the gospel?
